RE: Year 12 Information Evening – Wednesday 10th September 6pm–7pm
I am delighted to report that our Year 12 students have made an excellent start to life in Attenborough College at Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy. To further support their transition into Key Stage 5, and to continue developing a strong partnership with you, we are pleased to invite you to our Year 12 Information Evening on Wednesday 10th September.
This evening is designed to:
- Provide an overview of your child’s Post-16 experience and curriculum.
- Introduce you to the key staff supporting your child, including the Post-16 team.
- Share strategies to help your child achieve their full potential during this important phase of education.
The evening will begin with a presentation in the Lecture Theatre at 6pm, delivered by myself and Ms Sophie Dickinson, Director of Post 16. Your son/daughter should attend with you. Please enter via Main Reception, where you will be directed to the Lecture Theatre.
You will also be able to collect your child’s Chromebook, provided through the LAT Chromebook scheme. Please bring a photo ID with you to collect the device. A separate Chromebook letter with full details will be sent shortly.
Please reply through this Google Form by Monday 8th September to confirm whether you will be attending.
